What the app does

4VPN is a free VPN client. The app manages your connection to your provider’s service. A device is activated using a QR code or short code. A free app does not mean that access is free.

Access from a compatible service provider is required. Arbitrary VPN configuration imports are not supported.

Account and access

A connection requires an existing account and valid access from your provider. Pairing with a QR code or short code authorizes the device and does not create an account.

These terms cover the 4VPN software client. Access to VPN servers and its conditions are determined by the provider from whom you obtained access. Account creation, purchases, renewals and device management are outside the app. Your agreement for use of 4VPN is with the company identified above for your platform. That company is responsible for its app obligations; the access provider is responsible for its own service.

Use and security

Keep access credentials secure and only use devices you are entitled to control. Do not share one-time activation codes or attempt to access another person’s account.

Use the app in accordance with applicable laws and other people’s rights. Availability depends on the country, network and applicable restrictions.

Connection behaviour

The app offers Auto and available country choices. Connectivity depends on your network, device and the service. Uninterrupted operation, a particular speed and access to every external resource are not guaranteed.

A VPN changes the path of a network connection. It does not by itself protect against every online risk or replace device and account security.

Permissions, diagnostics and notifications

VPN operation requires system permission. Operational connection data is needed to configure and restore connections. A detailed diagnostic report is sent only after you approve a specific request; you can withdraw that consent.

System notification permission and commercial-message consent are separate. Commercial messages are off by default. See your platform’s privacy policy for the data involved and its retention.

Contact and user rights

Send app questions to support@4vpn.app and privacy questions or data requests to privacy@4vpn.app. Specify iOS or Android so the responsible company receives the request. Where necessary, we will ask for information to verify that the data relates to you.

These terms do not exclude or limit mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded by law. The company remains responsible for its app obligations; the access provider’s terms do not replace them.

Document status

This version takes effect on the date shown above. When terms change, we publish the updated version and date and notify you of material changes through available channels. Changing the text does not automatically provide consent for new data processing.
